How can I change my firewall from windows to zonealarm? Please be simple(I'm a beginner)!?

I'm an old person %26amp; not too good with computers-so please explain from a-z,thank you.How can I change my firewall from windows to zonealarm? Please be simple(I'm a beginner)!?You are making a mistake. I can not tell you how many problems I have seen others encounter by using Zone Alarm. Although it is a legitimate firewall, the endless warnings you receive when just trying to view perfectly safe and normal websites has caused most firewall reviews to give it a lower rating. Stick with windows firewall, stay off the porn sites and get MY WOT which is a site adviser and will warn you of potentially harmful sites before you enter. It won't replace your firewall of course but remember the user is the best anti-virus program and hacker preventer. Good luck!!

Edit: Read this review of firewalls and see for yourself what is best for you.

If you need to uninstall it, click start, control panel, add remove (programs and features in vista or windows 7) click zonealarm and it will uninstall.

Restart your computer.

Go to the link below and redownload and install, restart your computer again, then zonealarm will be your firewall.

This is the free version:

The free version of ZoneAlarm is very poor, the pay-for version isn't the best. Both will confuse you. The Windows firewall is adequate. If you want a better firewall, the free version of Outpost seems fairly easy to use. Download it from http://free.agnitum.com/ This will put an icon on your Desktop, click on the icon and follow the on-screen instructions. But I'd stick with the Windows firewall. As Joel says, WOT is a useful tool for warning you of websites to steer clear of. Free and *very* simple to use. http://www.mywot.com/

Main thing is to keep *all* your software up-to-date. Easiest way is to use Secunia PSI. Again, free and simple to use. http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scannin

Steer well clear of Comodo and PC Tools firewalls. Good but they will baffle you completely.
