How to change a firewall setting for xbox live ?

? 1Establish a static IP address for your Xbox 360. Go to My Xbox'System Settings'Network Settings'Configure Network'IP Settings'Manual. Enter in 192.168.0.250 for the IP address, 255.255.255.0 for the Subnet Mask, 192.168.0.1 for the Gateway and 192.168.0.1 for DNS.

? 2Enter the configuration for your router. Typically, this can be accomplished by typing in 192.168.0.1 in the address bar of your Internet browser, but refer to your router's manual if this does not work.

? 3Go to the port forwarding section (see the user's guide for your router for more information) once you're logged into your router.

? 4Create three new port forwarding entries named Xbox Live 1, Xbox Live 2 and Xbox Live 3. Also, ensure that each of these is enabled. For each of the three port forwarding entries, enter in the static IP address assigned to your Xbox 360, which is 192.168.0.250.

? 5Select %26quot;Both%26quot; for the protocol type on the Xbox Live 1 port forwarding entry, put %26quot;88%26quot; for the port (if there is a range of ports, enter %26quot;88%26quot; for each), and ensure that the rule is always applied if there is an option for it.

? 6Select %26quot;Both%26quot; for the protocol type on the Xbox Live 2 port forwarding entry, put %26quot;2074%26quot; for the port (if there is a range of ports, enter %26quot;2074%26quot; for each), and ensure that the rule is always applied if there is an option for it.

? 7Select %26quot;Both%26quot; for the protocol type on the Xbox Live 3 port forwarding entry, put %26quot;3074%26quot; for the port (if there is a range of ports, enter %26quot;3074%26quot; for each), and ensure that the rule is always applied if there is an option for it.

? 8Go back to My Xbox'System Settings'Network Settings on the Xbox 360 and select %26quot;Test Xbox Live Connection.%26quot;
