Clear your temporary internet files, cookies, etc, and reset the web settings. Then download Ad-Aware and Spybot. They both will find things the other left.
Also, trendmicro.com has a program called Housecall, this will allow you to scan for viruses for FREE. I would run that too.
And make sure you have all updates on your computer and try and remove any programs you don't use / are unsure of what they are by using Add/Remove Programs in the control panel.
Limewire and all those other programs are nothing but a pain unless you take the time to read everything and try not to install all their 'extras'. But limewire will install spyware no matter what, that's why it's free.
