How do i change my firewall to only allow traffic on ports 80, 443, 25?

i have a linksys 54g router and know how to log in and everything, i want to only allow traffic on ports 80,443, and 25 because i let my neighbor use my wireless sig. to check email, play online games, but i don't want him downloading music and movies , because i can't monitor how much he is downloading, but i want to open all my ports when i want to download( i don't care if he downloads when i download because i don't download that much) so it doesn't affect my programs. can anyone tell me how block and allow traffic on these ports ?

ps. i'm not worried about him changing his ports on his fileshare program, he is not that smart. thank you, and as always, your answers are greatly appreciated. How do i change my firewall to only allow traffic on ports 80, 443, 25?I've got a 54gs router which is may be the same as yours. It doesn't have very good functionality for blocking outbound internet access, and you cannot throttle bandwidth on a per user basis.

They can still download stuff through ports 80 and 443, but you could limit their options by blocking any ports above 443.

If you find the MAC address of your neighbours computer(s), you could set up an %26quot;internet access policy%26quot; specifically for you neighbour which is configured to allow access 24 hours/day.

Then under %26quot;blocked services%26quot; add the user-defined port range of 444 to 65534 / TCP

Alternatively you could just configure QoS and set high priority for http (80) and https (443).How do i change my firewall to only allow traffic on ports 80, 443, 25?Read the advanced configuration instructions for your router. The manual should be on the CD that came with it, or you can download one from the Linksys website. There is a section on access restrictions that will do what you want.
