What can i do about this music downloading?!?

I have asked this and still no help yet. I want to know why on limewire and frostwire...the connection on my computer only goes to one green bar and never goes any further? How can i get a higher connection? Do i need to change a firewall or what? Please help!!What can i do about this music downloading?!?get rid of useless stuff or ur computer might be old or of that sort
